This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the guest journey and ensure the delivery of the highest standard of guest experience through our brand new facility.
Opuke Thermal Pools & Spa (Opuke) has been a long time in the making and is due for build completion in Winter 2021. Opuke combines three distinct offerings: family fun pools & cafe, adult-exclusive pools & bar and a spa treatment facility. These experiences are combined with the unique way we take and heat our water - sourced from the mountains and powered by the sun.
It’s clear from our Opuke Pledge that our guests will have a second-to-none guest experience through every Opuke area. As our Guest Experience Manager, you’ll ensure our Pledge is delivered with specific responsibility for our Spa and Guest Services areas.
As well as the opportunity to shape the guest journey, you will deliver training of all front of house and customer interactional teams. You’ll have high standards and hold others to account whilst being an empathic and engaging leader. With a proven ability to anticipate and exceed guest needs and satisfaction standards, your ability to predict and improve customer service will lead the Opuke team to create an unforgettable guest experience.
As a successful candidate you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Customer Service Management and/or Spa Manager role and have worked in the tourism industry. Ideally, you will also have a NZ Certificate in Spa Therapy (L5) or equivalent.
